Career Achievements: 1999 China Snooker Masters champion, 2003 World Pool Masters champion, reached the semi-finals of the 2003 World Pool Championships, won the Amsterdam Open, member of winning 2007 and 2008 European Mosconi Cup side and was the tournament's Most Valuable Player in 2007.

Career Achievements: Youngest World Pool Masters Champion, UK Champion of Champion Winner (youngest UK No.1), Made Honourable Cuesports Patron for the Afghan Heroes Charity.

On the 2^nd of July Bridport are teaming up with Afghan heroes for a charity sports event to raise money for our injured troops. There will be lots of sports events taking place including pool with two professionals kindly agreeing to come down to support the event.
We will be having a qualifying round sometime between May and mid June so that the lucky finalists will get a chance to play against the professionals.
The competition will cost £10 to enter but this includes your entry to all sports events on the 2^nd of July and all qualifiers will receive limited refreshments.

All finalists must be available by 6:15 on the night of the event.

This is an open competition to anyone who wishes to enter.
